Description
As part of AMSA's obligation under the National Plan to Combat Pollution of the Sea by Oil and other Noxious and Hazardous Substances, AMSA maintains stockpiles of oil spill response equipment at strategic locations in Victoria.
The Victorian Department of Transport (Vic Dot) is responsible for ensuring Victoria is adequately prepared for and effectively responds to a marine pollution incident and administering the VicPlan for a whole-of-government approach to marine pollution emergencies.
The Parties are seeking a contractor to provide maintenance services and storage facilities of its oil spill response equipment which meets the Parties requirements, as follows:
- maintenance, storage and logistical service for AMSA's National Plan Equipment; and
- maintenance, storage and a deployment capability for Vic DoT’s VicPlan Equipment.
