The Mental Health Commission (Commission) strives to establish mental health, alcohol and other drug systems that meet the needs of Western Australia’s population and deliver quality outcomes for individuals and their families. The Commission’s vision is for the Western Australian community that experience alcohol and other drug-related harm is minimised.
The Commission has partnered with the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) to develop and pilot a WA Model for Violence Prevention (WA MVP) at Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) ED, based on the Cardiff Model for Violence Prevention (Cardiff Model).
The Commission requires a suitably qualified and appropriately experienced organisation to evaluate the WA MVP Pilot’s processes and effectiveness to inform whether future funding will be sought beyond the life of the pilot.
