Principal Contractor - Mine Shafts Rehabilitation Works - Reids Ridge Abandoned Mine Site

The abandoned Reids Ridge gold mine is located on Badimia Country within the Karara Rangeland Park, in the Midwest region of Western Australia, 342 km northeast of Perth. The Karara Rangeland Park is a popular wildflower and camping tourist destination. The Reids Ridge site was declared an abandoned mine site under the Mining Rehabilitation Fund Act 2012 (MRFA) s9(1) on the 11th of April 2023. The works requested are defined within the separate ‘Scope of Works’ Documents (a Part A document and a Part B document, with Part C Design Drawings). This request is for a Principal Contractor, as defined within the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and associated regulations. The Principal Contractor will have management and control of the site. This ‘Request Document’ details the Tender Process, the Evaluation Process and Evaluation Criteria, the Tender Prerequisites, the Tendering Conditions and the proposed Conditions of Contract.
