Retail Electricity for Small Market Sites

On behalf of Queensland Government, Queensland Government Procurement within the Department of Housing and Public Works, (HPW) is issuing an Invitation to Offer (ITO) to establish a single whole of Government Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for the supply of retail electricity to Queensland Government Small Market Sites (sites consuming less than 100MWh per annum) to ensure the consistent and stable provision of supply.

There is an estimated ~3300 small sites under the current arrangement, spread across 30 Government entities, with an 2018 annual consumption of approximately 41 GWh and approximately $9 Million spend. These sites are located mainly in Energex’s distribution network (South East Queensland) with a very small number located in New South Wales and Victoria.
