Repair and Replacement of Fire Doors at the Cultural Precinct

Description
Tenders are invited from Licensed Builders for the Repair and Replacement of Fire Doors across the Cultural Precinct. Part Offers will not be considered and only one contract will be entered into. Asbestos has been detected in the area of four of the doors, and more doors might be identified as being affected by asbestos during the life of the contract. Over 650 doors require repair or replacement. Documents to be submitted are provided as word documents.
A Mandatory Industry Briefing has been scheduled for 10:00am, Wednesday 29 March, 2017.
Works will be divided into two packages as follows:
Work Package No. 1 – Non-critical defect repairs (All buildings) to be completed by 22 June 2017.
Work Package No. 2 – Non-conformance defect repairs (All buildings) to be completed by 15 November 2017.
Each Package shall be comprised of Normal Hours works and Out of Hours works as summarised in the following table.
