Description

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) has been tasked with the responsibility to provide pre-hospital care to the population of Queensland, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. This requires the use of specialised equipment and in some instances the use of external providers to facilitate the transport for patients and staff to carry out its core functions. The Metro South Local Ambulance Service Network (LASN) of the QAS is currently providing water medical transport to the residents in Southern Moreton Bay Islands.

There is now a requirement to establish a new contract for the provision of urgent and non-urgent transport to the residents in Southern Moreton Bay Islands.
