Description
DPS proposes to undertake the design, documentation, construction and commissioning of an upgrade to the security point one entry to Parliament House.
DPS wishes to engage a design consultant to undertake, at a minimum, site investigations, project and design related functions up to and including the completion of tender drawings, specifications, schedules, compliance certifications and pre-tender estimates in accordance with DPS requirements.
The required outcomes of this project are: compliant access for the disabled and emergency services, sufficient circulation space for the volume of staff that use this entry, an improved functional layout for the security screening operations, comfortable and OHS compliant working environment for DPS staff, and an appropriate appearance for an entry to Parliament House.
