The Canterbury Hospital Redevelopment seeks to engage a specialist Cost Manager to provide expert cost management services throughout the planning, design, procurement, and construction phases of the project. The role involves close collaboration with the project team and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of cost considerations into all aspects of delivery. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining cost plans, preparing regular cost reports, and providing advice on financial risks and contingencies. The Cost Manager will also conduct probabilistic risk assessments to determine appropriate contingency levels, support procurement and tender evaluations, and monitor costs during construction to ensure the project is delivered within budget while achieving value for money.
