The Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) Respiratory Medicine Department serves as the cornerstone for pulmonary function testing across all hospital departments, catering to both inpatients and outpatients with a commitment to delivering high-quality assessments promptly. Timely delivery of services is paramount, particularly for patients whose investigations may impact their hospital discharge timelines. Pulmonary Function Testing Equipment has a pivotal role in diagnostic assessments as well as continuous monitoring of lung disease progression, gauging responsiveness to interventions and facilitating steroid weaning protocols. These assessments also play a crucial role in evaluating anaesthetic risks for patients undergoing high-risk surgical procedures and influencing the treatment course for individuals with lung cancer. East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) requires the supply of a Pulmonary Physiology Server, Software Function Testing Equipment and optional Post Warranty Service and Maintenance Agreement for the Respiratory Medicine Department at RPH. The proposed contract will constitute a standing offer arrangement (Head Agreement), whereby the Customer can place Orders (Customer Contract) for additional hardware and software components, associated accessories, and optional post-warranty maintenance options offered on an as required basis during the term.
