BD1475 - Springfield F Block Engineering Lab

The University of Southern Queensland is seeking tenders from suitably qualified construction contractors to undertake work on F Block at the University's Springfield Campus.

This work involves the expansion of an existing facility, which contains engineering teaching laboratories.

Site Visit Details

To ensure that social distancing is maintained, Site Visits will be by appointment only.

• Site: Springfield F Block (map)
• Date for Visits: Friday 29/05/2020
• Tenders will need to book an appointment by Wednesday 27/05/2020.
• To Book, email [email hidden] with the subject line "BD1475 Site Visit - [tenderer name]"
• Include in the body of the email the contact details of all attendees to site (including subcontractors), and a preferred time.
• The University cannot guarantee that a tenderer will be assigned their preferred slot. Slots are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
• Appointments will be 45 minutes in duration, available slots are:

  • 10:00am
  • 11:00am
  • 12:30pm
  • 1:30pm
  • 2:30pm
  • 3:30pm
• Tenderers must observe all social distancing guidelines during the Site Visit.
• Inspections of internal areas are limited to 4 individuals (not including USQ personnel).
• Tenderers must ensure that they meet all mandatory criteria (see Submission Forms for details) prior to booking an appointment.
• Requests for Information that arise during the Site Visit must be submitted via QTenders.

Requests for Information

The deadline for submitting Requests for Information is by close of business one week prior to the Closing Date.

RFIs must be submitted via the QTenders online forum. RFIs received by other methods may not be accepted.
