Supply of Museum Quality Showcases for the WA Museum
Details
Description
The Western Australian Museum (WAM) is seeking a Respondent to deliver, supply, and install forty four (44) demountable, portable and reconfigurable airtight display cases, constructed out of conservation grade materials.
These showcases will be used for a travelling exhibition from the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), London, titled Wedding Dress: 200 Years of Wedding Fashion, and in the future for both touring and permanent exhibitions at WAM.
The WAM requires a qualified Respondent to provide showcases which meet international museum conservation standards. Expertise and experience in the fabrication of high quality display solutions related to museum and gallery installation is also essential.
The schedule for the installation of the outfits into the free standing showcases is limited and therefore delivery of the showcases must be on or before the 14 November 2012.
