Issue of up to 15 General Taxi Licences with Special Conditions (Wheelchair Accessible Taxis)

The Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure, Public Transport Division (PTD) is calling for tenders for the issue of up to 15 General Taxi Licences with Special Conditions (Wheelchair Accessible Taxis). The licences will be both transferable and renewable anually with conditions.

Tenders must be submitted on the prescribed Tender Form that may be obtained from the PTD between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

A lodgement fee of $28.00 will apply with respect to each tender lodged.

Tender forms must be completed and placed in the Tender Envelope provided by the PTD, together with a bank cheque payable to the "Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure: for the tender lodgement fee of $28.00. Tender forms that are not accompanied by the tender Ldogement Fee will not be considered.

Respondents seeking more than one licence must place each response to the tender in a seperate envelope.

The tender must be lodged in the Taxi Licence Tender Box on the Ground Floor, Roma Mitchel House, 136 North Terrace, Adelaide by the tender closing date.

Tender closing date: 4pm Tuesday 25 September 2007 (Adelaide Time).

Late Tenders will not be accepted.
