WA Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety
Helicopter Transport Services for WA-Array Program - Panel Arrangement
Details
Description
Over the next 10 years, the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) branch within the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) is proposing to establish sites at 40km spacing across Western Australia for the deployment of up to 1500 passive seismic monitoring stations for WA-Array, and potentially for the Australian Lithospheric Architecture Magnetotelluric Project (AusLAMP) magnetotelluric measurements. Access to approximately 60% of the stations will be possible only by helicopter.
DMIRS is seeking to establish a Panel Arrangement with one or more helicopter companies to provide in-field transportation services for ground clearances and equipment deployment, servicing and removal for those sites not accessible by road.
