Laverton Staff Housing- Essential Works

The WA Country Health Service Goldfields (WACHS Goldfields) requires the refurbishment of four (4) WACHS houses located in Laverton.The scope of the refurbishment has largely been determined by the need to address the condition of staff accommodation with identified refurbishments required to improve living conditions.

In completing these refurbishments, the aim is to provide safe and attractive living facilities for WACHS staff within the Goldfields and Laverton region specifically. The provision of suitable and appropriate housing is a critical enabler of the workforce. Upgrading staff accommodation will increase WACHS’ ability to deploy its health workforce where required and recruit and retain staff. This will support and sustain the delivery of essential health care services across both regional and remote WA.

Below are the four locations of the houses selected for refurbishment:

1. Appendix A – 3 Boomerang Crescent, Laverton
2. Appendix B – 5 Boomerang Crescent, Laverton
3. Appendix C – House 1, Laverton Hospital Site
4. Appendix D – House 2, Laverton Hospital Site
