The Department is seeking an Enterprise Storage Solution that is to be of sufficient magnitude that it will support business applications including; Clinical applications such as a statewide Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and Digital/Scanned Medical Records (DMR); Mission critical 24x7 applications such as Hospital Patient Administration Systems and Pharmacy Systems Storage for VMware ESX virtualisation; File and Exchange servers - clustered and stand alone; Database servers including SQL Server - clustered and stand alone Storage for backup and recovery.
