This project will review the Regional Strategies prepared as part of the State Government's Regional Planning Initiative to provide advice and recommend changes for future revisions of the strategies. The project will specifically involve three parts: (a) identifying current best practice for regional land use strategies;(b) establishing criteria for the assessment of strategies; and (c) assessing the three Tasmanian strategies against the criteria and identifying the changes required to achieve future compliance.
