Description
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) has deployed a centrally managed security Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) monitoring system at stations in the metropolitan area & miscellaneous depots. The purpose of the CCTV system is to:
• Improve customer confidence & promote a feeling of safe travel on the rail system.
• Deter potential crime incidents & vandalism.
• Assist PTA security staff in carrying out their responsibilities.
• Assist in the prosecution & conviction of offenders.
The Public Transport Authority seeks tender from companies capable of providing maintenance in accordance with the scope of work, including:
• 1st Level Scheduled Preventative Maintenance as detailed in Appendix 1 of Security technology equipment.
• 1st Level Un-Scheduled Maintenance (ie spot job/repair) of Security technology equipment as listed in Book 4 – Annexure 1 Systems Requiring 1st Level Maintenance.
• 2nd Level Support of Security technology equipment as listed in Appendix 3. Where 2nd level Support includes telephone direction & advice to onsite 1st Level Maintainers and direct onsite remedial works as required.
• Training and up skilling of PTA maintainers as requested. This will include on the job training and formal classes.
