Grant Management System
Details
Description
The Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR) is responsible for South Australia's nature conservation, heritage conservation and animal welfare.
Throughout the Department various grants are awarded to further the Department’s work. Currently various methods are used to manage those grants ranging from a custom application within Natural Resources Management (NRM) through to spreadsheets, access databases and various document repositories.
DEWNR is seeking to implement a single application to manage grants across the department. Specifically, an application that provides key features such as: capacity to support multiple business units with appropriate security and autonomy, features that facilitate the management of payment requests and financial reconciliation, integration with the Geographical Information System (GIS), a web browser front end and provision of self management functionality for applicants, assessors and grantees.
