The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Kimberley Learning and Development Unit is seeking offers for the provision of Aggression Prevention and Management Training to WACHS staff across six locations in the Kimberley region: Broome, Derby, Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, Kununurra, and Wyndham. This training is based on the WACHS Learning Frameworks with state-wide learning objectives.
The training shall assist WACHS Kimberley healthcare workers to effectively prevent and manage aggression by improving their recognition of aggressive behaviour, teaching them de-escalation techniques, demonstrating safer restraint techniques and improving coping mechanisms following aggressive incidents.
