Tender for a commercial partner to support the development and commercialisation of new oat varieties for hay production. The South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI), the research group of Primary Industries and Resources South Australia, has an Oat breeding program of which a part is the development of oat varieties suitable for hay production. SARDI, in cooperation with the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC) conducts this plant breeding programme to produce potential new oat varieties suitable for hay production. SARDI is now seeking tenders from interested companies in the further development of this program and the commercialisation of cultivars released over a period of five (5) years from 1st of April 2001.
