Supply of Slit Lamps, Examining Consoles and Patient Chairs for South Metropolitan Health Service

South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) requires the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of slit lamps, with imaging systems, examining consoles and patient chairs for Fremantle Hospital (FH). Initially, it is anticipated that six slit lamps with imaging systems, five examining consoles and five patient chairs are required for FH.

In addition, SMHS requires the supply of associated accessories, spare parts, training and optional service and maintenance, for the 15-year expected useful life of the Goods.

The required slit lamps are an essential piece of diagnosing equipment required to undertake a comprehensive eye examination. The slit lamps need to be equipped with digital imaging systems to allow trackable medical records and progression analysis. Powered examining consoles and patient chairs are also required, which will work in conjunction with the slit lamp, to establish a safe, ergonomic, and comfortable eye consulting suite.

The Contract Authority/Customer may require additional slit lamps, examining consoles and patient chairs throughout the term of the Head Agreement. The Head Agreement established as a result of this Request will constitute a standing offer, whereby Customers can place Orders on an ‘as required’ basis during the Term. The Contractor is required to be flexible and to allow for additional orders during the term of the Head Agreement.

In addition, the attached Excel spreadsheet, “TSPFH23003 – Attachment 1 – Schedule 2 and 3” provides a detailed list of specifications which SMHS require in the Goods. The Respondent is required to complete this attachment to demonstrate suitability of the Goods.
