  1. Specification/Scope of Services

Building capability for Western Australian (WA) food and beverage product manufacturing businesses is a key component of the Food Industry Innovation (FII) Project identified in a Summary Investment Plan which defines Royalties for Regions approved funded activities.

This programis being undertaken to equip WA business and to allow an opportunity to build their capability and knowledge in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector by bringing industry experts to deliver modular programming for WA manufacturers at different stages of business development.

The program is proposed to be designed to include key buyers from the following and within the delivery timings, February 2024 to September 2024:

  • Development of modules including engagement with buyers from major retailers in both food and liquor [e.g., Coles, Woolworths, Metcash (IGA; IGA Banner Groups); Famer Jacks; Costco, Aldi, Harris Farm]
  • Food Service, (e.g., hotels, restaurants, cafes, chefs, caterers)
  • Institutions, (e.g., mine sites, stadia, hospitals and education)
  • Food distributors and brokers.

It will be the responsibility of the successful contractor to plan, organise and deliver the in-person buyer meetings.
