Acton Waterfront Civil & Temporary Landscape Works - Principal’s Authorised Person (PAP) Services (GC21)

The objective of this brief is to engage a suitably experienced and qualified consultant to undertake the role of Site Management Team including Principal’s Authorised Person (PAP) and associated contract administration and site surveillance services under a GC21 contract for the construction of the stormwater, earthworks, access track and temporary park at the Acton Waterfront.
The successful PAP and their team will deal directly with the construction Contractor, manage the GC21 contract and provide day-to-day contract administration and site surveillance services.

The scope of the works for the Contractor is to provide supporting infrastructure for the future delivery of the Acton Waterfront Park and Estate. The scope of works includes the following deliverables related to the development upon the reclaimed area of land at the Acton Waterfront on Lake Burley Griffin:

1. Stormwater and Fill: Construction works for the extension of the existing stormwater pipes to pass through the land reclamation areas and bulk earthworks.
2. Access Track: Construction of a temporary driveway and access track off Lawson Crescent.

3. Temporary Park: Design and construct a temporary park on the land reclamation area to provide public amenity during the fill settlement period. This Temporary Park (Stage 1A) will enable the future delivery of the permanent Acton Waterfront Park (Stage 1B).
