Description

The Department of Training and Workforce Development (the Customer) is seeking the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, warranty, and training for one (1) Computer Numeric Control (CNC) five (5) axis machining centre for North Metropolitan TAFE (NMT), Midland campus.

Support and maintenance for 12 months may be required and has been included in this Request as an optional requirement.

NMT will use the CNC five (5) axis machining centre to train students in the manufacturing and engineering training package; particularly in the late operations unit of competency.

NMT’s objective is to ensure students are appropriately trained in the use of contemporary equipment; aligning their skills with evolving demands of the job market. Additionally, students will gain the necessary qualifications required to meet industry expectations as proficient apprentices in the fields of metals and engineering
