20C252 Flagstaff Road Upgrade Project

DESCRIPTION
The South Australia Government has announced $32.9 million in funding for the Flagstaff Road Upgrade Project.

Flagstaff Road is a major arterial road used by more than 21,000 motorists every day to commute to other parts of the city.

This project proposes to install an additional lane as a permanent two-way dual carriageway to reduce traffic congestion and improve efficiency and safety for motorists travelling on Flagstaff Road. It will provide capacity to overtake slow-moving traffic and allow emergency vehicles to proceed without being restricted by commuter traffic.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) invites suitably prequalified Construction Contractors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to deliver the Flagstaff Road Widening Project, Contract No. 20C252.

The EOI is the first phase of a multi-phase procurement process to establish a Construct Only Contract to deliver the works. The objective of the EOI process is to identify prequalified organisations that are interested in entering into the proposed Contract. Organisations must have the suitable capacity, capability and experience to deliver the project and possess a superior team and excellent track record in delivering similar civil construction projects.

DPTI will be conducting the procurement process via the Aconex Information Management System (https://au1.aconex.com/Logon). Companies are to ensure they have an active Aconex account prior to registering for this EOI.

To participate in this process and receive the EOI tender document, interested companies must first lodge a completed Confidentiality Deed form and meet the mandatory prequalification requirements. Following successful registration, DPTI will provide an invitation to join the Aconex project and will provide the EOI tender document to the nominated contacts.

MANDATORY PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To respond to this EOI, Registrants must meet the minimum pre-qualification requirements, as follows:

• Roadworks level: R3;
• Financial level: F25

For companies who do not meet the minimum prequalification categories, sub-contractor opportunities will be advertised via the Industry Capability Network website.
