THE SA HOUSING TRUST AND THE CITY OF SALISBURY ARE JOINTLY REDEVELOPING THE SUBURB OF SALISBURY NORTH. THE SALISBURY NORTH URBAN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT COMMENCED IN 1998 AND IS AN EXCITING PROJECT INVOLVING THE TRANSFORMATION OF AGEING PUBLIC HOUSING STOCK INTO UPGRADED HOUSING AND A VARIETY OF NEW ALLOTMENTS FOR PRIVATE AND PUBLIC HOUSING.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES WERE DEVELOPED TO ADDRESS PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC NEEDS AND A COMPREHENSIVE MONITORING AND EVALUATION REPORT IS VITAL IN ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF THE PROJECT AND WHETHER THE OBJECTIVES ARE ACHIEVING INTENDED OUTCOMES.
SUBSTANTIAL EXPERIENCE IN PROJECT EVALUATION, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES IN RELATION TO URBAN RENEWAL IS ESSENTIAL.
