Newlyn Tower Ladder Access Upgrade

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) require the services of a Design & Construct contractor to design, fabricate and install a new ladder access system into the Newlyn Reservoir Intake Tower, located in the Newlyn Reservoir, north of the township Newlyn.

The current ladder system is non-compliant with OHS regulations and will need to be decommissioned and removed from the tower as part of the contracted works.

Principal Items of Work:

1. Design of new access system,
2. Fabrication of new access system and associated components,
3. Removal of existing access systems (including external stairs),
4. Installation of new access system,
5. Relocation of sump pump (if required).
6. Redirection of air relief piping (if required).
7. Relocation of power filtering cabinet (if required).
8. Relocation of electrical cable tray systems (where required).

The successful tenderer will be responsible as Principal Contractor and required to provide OHS coordination plan and enter a DTF contract.

The form of contract will be a VPS Minor Works Contract.
