Description
The Cape to Cape Track is a popular 130 kilometre hiking trail along the Leeuwin-Naturaliste coastline, landmarked by Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouses.
DBCA requires a suitably experienced contractor to refresh degraded infrastructure at the Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin light precincts. Works will include but may not be limited to:
- Clearing, earthworks and disposal of existing identified infrastructure.
- Construct concrete pathways and concrete pedestrian gathering areas.
- Construct concrete retaining walls forming terraces.
- Construct granite stone plinth.
- Resurfacing asphalt parking bays, install concrete kerbing, wheel stops, and line marking.
- Installation of aluminium signage structures and aluminium ground ribbon (signage structures to be supplied by DBCA).
- Installation of timber benches along retaining walls and free-standing timber seat (timber benches and seat to be supplied by DBCA)
- Prepare vegetation islands
