Description
Scope: Cyber Advance Project ? Provision of Project Management Services Background information: HSS has been working on the Cyber Advance Program for about a year now and currently scheduled to complete by June 2025. The Cyber Advance Program is to implement a stream of cybersecurity products to improve the cybersecurity management capabilities. The Cybersecurity management capabilities include: Email filtering (Defender for Microsoft Office 365)Endpoint protection (Defender for Endpoint)Advanced identity and access management (Defender for Identity)Threat and information protection services (Defender for Cloud Apps); andSecurity Information and Event Management (SIEM) services (Microsoft Sentinel) The Cyber Advance project will roll-out new security products from the new entitlements of the Microsoft E5 licence/product. With the rollout of these products, new mechanisms shall be introduced helping to improve the security coverage and posture of WA health. The following are some objectives of Cyber Advance program: To update the in-scope security products in a ?like for like? manner to maintain existing levels of threat protection whilst managing any identified risks.To implement a level of functional testing for the new cybersecurity products to ensure confidence in their operation.Implementation will adhere to the established Health Support Services (HSS) processes and practices.Gradual uplift skills of the operational teams as the products are implemented.To phase out older products while minimum level of functionality is maintained and any gaps in functionality closed or accepted by the relevant operational teams. To utilise any available Microsoft Resources to ensure an optimised and smooth transition to using the new toolsets.To utilise Microsoft Technical partners in the development of the solution to minimise risk and maximise knowledge sharing. In term of technical objectives, the new Microsoft security products will provide a consistent sector wide Cybersecurity management capability as follows: Email filtering, a capability provided by Defender for Office 365Endpoint protection, a capability provided by Defender for Endpoint (MDE). Both MDE in passive and/or active mode are deployed to HSS managed Windows endpoint devices.Advanced identity and access management, a capability provided by Defender for Identity (MDI)Threat and information protection services, a capability provided for either by MDE, MDI, Defender for Cloud Apps and Defender for Office 365Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) service, a capability provided by MS Sentinel. Those objectives are expected to support the discover and response capability of WA Health, thereby supporting the drive to achieve Maturity Level 1 for WA Health. Resource required: The program requires a Project Manager that has significant demonstrated hands-on experience in large-scale ICT environment, in particular, cybersecurity, and WA Health Sector would be highly regarded. The resource needs to have the following skill set and expected to carry out, but not limited to the following activities: Has significant experience in Project Manager roles in large-scale ICT environments.Significant experience in the MS Cybersecurity products.Deliver the project using a defined project management methodology and using project management techniques and tools. Facilitate and maintain the delivery relationship between HSS, vendors and key stakeholders.Monitor and report the progress of project against existing baseline scope, budget, and cost tolerances.Conduct Issue and risk management.To support other Portfolio Management Activities if/as they arise.Act as an initial contact for project related issue escalation and resolution.Act as the interface between the HSS Program Team, Vendors and Health Service Providers, ensuring successful delivery of the overall Cyber Advance project.Ability to provide program/project definition and PMO experience.Strong conceptual and interpersonal analysis skills
