Leongatha WWTP Emergency Storage Lagoon Expansion Stage 1 and Stage 2

South Gippsland Water invites tenders for the construction works at the Leongatha Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Tenderers must provide lump sum pricing for each Separable Portion for the tender submission to be considered compliant in the following.

Separable Portion A – Stage 1 (New Infrastructure)

- Construct new 16.2ML clay-lined lagoon with inlet, outlet, and overflow pipework

- Install new pump stations (ESL2 & Biosolids Management Facility) with associated pipework

- Electrical, control and SCADA upgrades

- Upgrade site access and complete general site works

Separable Portion B – Stage 2 (Modifications & Demolition)

- Modify ESL1 pipework and fit-out ESL2 pump station

- Install ESL2 return pipework and new manhole (PTXXXX)

- Emergency Storage MCC – Electrical, control and SCADA modification

- Decommission and demolish existing ESL1 pump station

- Complete associated site works

These upgrades will maintain compliance with EPA licence conditions while supporting sustainable wastewater management for the township and protecting the environment.

A mandatory site visit outline the scope and surroundings will commence on Tuesday 30^th September at 11am at Leongatha WWTP, 1 Beggs Street, Leongatha (West of Begg Street). Contractors must register their intention to attend with Shelaan Mathes (contact information below) with at least 48 hours notice. A meeting location map is provided in the RFT documents.
