Principal Contractor for the Townsville University Hospital Fire Detection Upgrade Project

The Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) wishes to invite tenders from a suitably qualified and experienced principal contractor to upgrade the fire detection and warning systems throughout the Townsville University Hospital. A licensed Fire detection specialist or building contractor may tender as the Principal Contractor for this project. Evidence of appropriate QBCC licencing arrangement will be required as part of the tender submission.

NOTE: It is mandatory that the Specialist Fire Technician / Programmer holds manufacturers accredited training and minimum of 5 years’ experience on similar installations/systems.

A mandatorysite visit at the Townsville Univeristy Hospital has been allocated for Monday 10th August 2020 commencing at 2:00pm QLD time.
Interested Tenderers must register to attend. Futher information provided on page 11 within the Invitation to Tender document.

Tenderers are strongly advised to familiarise themselves with the tender submission preparation instructions provided on pages 10-13 within the Invitation to Tender document. Submissions that do not meet the Mandatory Criteria or not packaged as requested, may be treated as non-conforming.
