Cooktown Hospital - Demountable Kitchen

Tenders are sought from suitably qualified construction companies to provide a demountable kitchen for the Cooktown Multi Purpose Health Service which is located within the town of Cooktown Queensland.

The demountable kitchen will provide temporary replacement services of approximately 150 meals per day for the current Cooktown hospital kitchen facility and will be operated by approximately 2 to 4 staff at any one time.

The successful tenderer is responsible for undertaking the work through the following stages:

Stage 1 Design

A concept design has been included with the tender documents. The successful tenderer is required to produce a detailed design for the kitchen based on the concept design and other terms and conditions herein supplied.

Stage 2 Construction

Upon approval of the preferred design by the Principal, the successful tenderer is required to construct the facility off-site.

Stage 3 Site Preparations

The successful tenderer will be required to prepare the site in order to accept the new facility. This includes developing an appropriate temporary foundation.

Stage 4 Delivery and Installation

The successful tenderer is required to deliver the completed units to the site and lift them on to the foundations and make good. This stage also includes the installation of the selected Kitchen Equipment into the kitchen
