Description
Townsville Hospital and Health Service is undertaking the High Voltage Infrastructure reinforcement project, as part of the Townsville Hospital Redevelopment Project. It is envisaged the project will achieve the following objectives and outcomes:
- To provide a cost effective and efficient design to achieve value for money in capital and recurrent costs.
- To provide Townsville Hospital with improved resilience, flexibility and reliability of the high voltage network infrastructure.
- To minimise operational disruption to health services during installation and during future planned maintenance requirements.
- To comply with all relevant legislation and best practice requirements
- To deliver the project within agreed time frames and financial budgets.
- The design complies with Queensland Health Capital Infrastructure Requirements.
