01951T Holts Hill Building Relocation - Design and Construct

Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority trading as Seqwater seeks tenders from suitably qualified contractors to undertake works for the Holts Hill (HH) Control Building Relocation.

The work required to be undertaken by the Contractor can be generally summarised in the following packages:

• Preparation of the existing site for the construction of a new Chemical Building,
• Building a new Chemical Building over the existing Filter Bed No.6, replacing the old Chemical Building sited on an unstable section of embankment;
• Building a new backup generator, including load bank, enclosure for a new skid mounted generator and provision of new cables and associate infrastructure to connect the transformers to the new LV Switchroom, located inside the new Chemical Building, at HH;
• Provision of a new cables and associated infrastructure from two transformers (11kV and 5.5 kV) to be installed at Holts Hill by the Principal as part of a separate project to connect the transformers to the new LV Switchroom, located inside the new Chemical Building, at HH;
• Phased transfer/upgrading of water sampling, dosing, analysis and control functions from the old to the new Chemical Building;
• Re-routing of the compressed air line to the Ammonia Batching Plant, and
• Demolishing the old Chemical Building and remediating the remaining pavements in the area.
