Woodcrest State College Design and Construction of Modular Community Hub

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new community hub modular building at the junior campus of Woodcrest State College, located at 38 Nev Smith Drive, Springfield Qld 4300 as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) and School funded program.

The new building is to a turnkey modular building at the front of the school, 18m x 15m in total, including an open room with an office, kitchen, toilets, PWD toilet, data room, external veranda, access ramp and stairs. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the 21 February 2020.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
