Performance Qualification of Sterilisers and Washers

Service Providers are invited by Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) to submit an offer in response to ITO Number MNHHS87872 Performance Qualification of Sterilisers and Washers.

The successful Offeror is to conduct annual performance qualification and validation of sterilisers and washers in accordance with relevant International and Australian Standards and Queensland Health requirements with respect to equipment installed at Metro North sites. The conduct of this requirement will demonstrate and document that the cleaning, disinfecting, packaging and/or sterilising processes can be delivered effectively. It will also demonstrate and document that the processes are reproducible. This will ensure compliance with the infection control requirements across Metro North facilities.

The proposed arrangement will be for a period of three (3) years with options for Metro North, at its sole discretion, to extend for a further two (2) periods, with each further period being twelve (12) months in duration.
