Refurbishment of the Goods Lift and the Replacement of the Passenger Lift at the Museum of Tropical Queensland

The Queensland Museum - Museum Tropical Queensland is seeking a suitably qualified contractor for the Refurbishment of the Goods Lift and the Replacement of the Passenger Lift at the Museum of Tropical Queensland.

Brief Scope:

• Engaging a suitable qualified contractor to refurbish the Goods Lift and replace the Passenger Lift.
• Addressing the critical maintenance issues with the existing vertical transport and reduce unplanned maintenance entrapments and outages to provide a more economic service life

Works are to be undertaken in accordance with the specification, ensuring the works associated with the refurbishment of the Goods Lift are completed by no later than 30 June 2018 and the works associated with the replacement of the Passenger Lift are completed by no later than 30 June 2019.

Madatory Industry Briefing:

A mandatory industry briefing (MIB) will take place at 10 AM on Friday 2 June 2017 at the Museum of Tropical Queensland boardroom, 70-100 Flinders Street Townsville, which will be followed by a site inspection.

Those who fail to attend by the stated time may have entry rejected. This is to ensure the industry briefing is conducted on time and to be fair to all prospective tenderers.

Any Tenderer who does not attend this mandatory industry briefing and subsequent site inspection will not be eligible to submit an offer for evaluation.
