Caboolture East SS GLA Refurbishment (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the GLA Refubishment (Block 3 and Block 4) at Caboolture East State School, located at 44 Manley Street, Caboolture QLD 4510, as part of the School Infrstructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The GLA Refurbishment includes four (4No.) new teaching walls, two (2No.) new operable walls, sinks units, storerooms and breakout teaching room in Block 4 as well as two (2No.) new operable walls in Block 3. The position of both buildings is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by January 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
