Employee Vaccination Program

The Department of Justice (the Department) supports the community, the Western Australian Government, judiciary and State Parliament through the provision of access to high-quality justice, legal and corrective services, information and products. As a result of the services delivered, there are occupational groups who are at risk of direct contact with blood or body substances. A state-wide Occupational Vaccination Program is required to immunise those staff against identified vaccine preventable diseases. Vaccinations are required on an ongoing basis due to new recruits, changes in staff, vaccination schedules, and response to outbreaks etc.
