Supply of Continence and Other Products (CONTI24)

Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) invites the submission of tenders for the provision of Continence and Other Products (CONTI) in accordance with this Request for Tender (RFT).

The Department’s Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP) assists Entitled Persons to live safely and independently. CONTI products are listed on the RAP National Schedule of Equipment (RAP Schedule) for prescribing and ordering. For this tender, the relevant RAP categories for this tender are: continence products (AD00, and AT10), thickened fluid (BA16) and Disposable bathroom kit (AU05).

Continence products include pads, pants, catheters and bed and chair protection to manage urinary and /or faecal incontinence. This range of products assists Entitled Persons manage any leakage and maintain their dignity.

Assessing Health Providers prescribe continence items for Eligible Persons by completing a Direct Order Form for the required item and sending the form to a Contractor listed in the Direct Order Form and the DVA website. The Contractor organises delivery, either to the Assessing Health Provider or the Entitled Person.

The current contract arrangements cease on 31 January 2025 and the Department is seeking to establish a panel of Contractors to commence on 1 February 2025 for the supply of these Goods. The panel will have an initial contract period of three (3) years with options to extend for a further two (2) periods of up to twelve months each.
