TENDER FOR THE OWNERSHIP AND REMOVAL OF:
The State Film and Video Library 16mm non heritage film collection.
The 16mm non heritage SFVL collection comprises approximately 5,900 reels of film with content that is over 30 years old. The collection is in poor condition with acetic emissions in acetate film leading to degradation.
Respondents are invited for the ownership and removal of the whole collection.
Preference will be given to Respondents who will make the collection available to the public, for as long as the physical condition of the collection allows. Respondents will need to describe in writing how they will make the collection available to the public.
The successful Respondent will be responsible for the cost of packing, removing and transporting the collection.
The collection is available for inspection. Inspections of the collection may be arranged by calling the Director Client Services, Susan Ashcroft on [phone hidden].
