Description
The ABS is looking for a customer focussed service Contractor to carry out the annual electrical inspection, testing and tagging of all electrical appliances connected to a general purpose outlet. The ABS is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for its employees and a workplace where employees are safe from the risk of injury or death caused by the use of electrical installations and electrical appliance power cords. The ABS aims to control this risk by safe inspection and electrically testing and tagging of electrical appliance power cords
The ABS currently has a property portfolio of eight leased offices located in each State and Territory capital city across Australia. The ABS primary function is to assist and encourage informed decision making, research and discussion within governments and the community, by leading a high quality, objective and responsive national statistical service. Each location has a standard office layout with open plan workstations and screens, executive offices, kitchenettes, meeting rooms and resources areas for office automation equipment. The sites vary in size from 1411sqm to 34859sqm. Sites may be added or deleted at the discretion of ABS.
