Design JDF for Deputy Director General

The purpose of this contract is to design the posiiton of Deputy Director General, and to conduct a selection and recruitment process for the position. The Deputy Director General (DDG) will lead the implementation of policies and initiatives relevant to the regulation of the liquor and gambling industries. The DDG will also support the Director General in establishing and refining the strategic direction of the Department and oversee the operational management of the Department. The position is responsible for exercising high level statutory authority and delegations and for making legally binding decisions. The DDG will oversee the Administrative Law, Liquor Regulation, Gambling Regulation and Strategic Regulation divisions.
