The Public Transport Authority is calling public tenders for the Construction of the Butler Railway Station .
TENDERERS PLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE TENDER DRAWINGS THEY ARE ONLY AVAILABLE ON CD, PLEASE CONTACT JOHN GOULD ON [phone hidden] TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO PICK UP A CD.
The scope of works entails a bus/rail transfer station at the intersection of Exmouth Drive and Butler Boulevard, Butler with a 950 car park and ride bays split over three separate car parks, drop off and short term parking, pedestrian and cycle facilities and full universal access standards. (the full scope of works is set out in the specification and drawings)
Non-Mandatory Briefing
A Non-Mandatory Briefing as a pre-requisite to acceptance of the tender will be held in the Theatrette at the Public Transport centre West Parade Perth on Wednesday 14 December, 2011 at 9:00am. Please convene at the Security Desk 15 minutes prior to the briefing. Please contact John Gould by email by 11am Tuesday 13 December, 2011 to record your attendance.
Also please note, the Public Transport Authority has implemented a Principal Controlled Insurance Program for all publicly-tendered construction contracts. Under this arrangement PTA will be responsible for the following contract insurance requirements for the construction of the Butler Railway Station:
• Public liability (including general and product liability); and
• Contract works (material damage).
All other classes of insurance required remain the responsibility of the Successful Tenderer.
