WA Police Force
Review and Re-design Traffic Infringement Forms and Public Information
Details
Description
Western Australia (WA) Police’s Infringement Management and Operations (IMO) issue a number of forms including Traffic Infringement Notices, On The Spot Infringements, Non-Traffic Infringement Notices, Criminal Code Infringement Notices and General Correspondence.
WA Police has a requirement for a behavioural form analyst to complete a review of all public forms and notices used by IMO utilising behavioural insights to develop easier to understand forms from a customer perspective and utilising messaging concepts such as Nudge Theory to emphasise road safety messaging and motivate payment of fines.
WA Police intend the form changes to be more customer focused, reduce customer calls, reduce false information, contain stronger road safety messaging and improve payment rates.
The traffic infringement information published on the WA Police website will also be aligned with similar language and behavioural insights to compliment the new forms design.
