Description

The aim of the project is to minimuse the impact of wild dogs on livestock and vertebrate pests on agricultural properties and conservation values adjacent to and on Unallocated Crown Land.

In particular, it is envisaged that the project will deliver:

  • Control of wild dogs on a buffer system in Unallocated Crown Land to a level where the impact of wild dogs on adjacent livestick is minimised;
  • Enable timely and accurate information to be provided to ensure affective integration with other wild dog control activities; and
  • Opportunistic control of other vertebrate pests (i.e. feral cats, dogs, camels, donkeys, horses and goats, or as instructed by the Customer) on Unallocated Crown Land and Department of Parks and Wildlife reserves, while undertaking wild dog activities.
