Replacement and Support for a Financial Management Information System Solution

The Department for Child Protection and Family Support (the Department) requires the replacement of its current Financial Management Information System (FMIS). The replacement FMIS is required in order to meet current and known future financial management requirements of the Department such as:

(a) Collection of accurate, timely, complete, reliable, consistent fiscal information;
(b) Provision of adequate management reporting;
(c) Facilitation of financial statement preparation;
(d) Support of government-wide and agency policy decisions;
(e) Support of budget preparation and execution;
(f) Provision of information for central agency budgeting, analysis and government-wide reporting; and
(g) Provision of complete audit trails to facilitate audits.

The Department envisages that the Contract will be awarded by the end of December 2016 with a view to a “Go-Live” implementation date of Monday 3 July 2017.
