Provision of Financial Advice in Establishing the Financial Position of State Owned Energy Businesses

An Expert Electricity Panel has been established by theTasmanian Government to conduct an investigation into, and provide guidance to Parliament on, the current position and future development of Tasmania’s electricity industry. The Panel is seeking to appoint a financial adviser to assist it examine the financial position of the Tasmanian electricity businesses and to develop quantitative approaches for assessing reform options. Advisers are required to have current expertise and relevant experience in assessing electricity utility comparative financial performance and the development of integrated financial models suitable for strategic financial planning.
