Description
The District Council of Mount Barker are seeking to engage the services of a suitably qualified and experienced facilities design company to provide detailed design and specifications for the provision of a regional sporting facility.
The outcomes sought to be achieved through this service are to provide detailed design plans and specifications that will :
ØMeet the needs of the community
ØProvide active and passive recreation areas
ØLandscaping and Shading
ØProvide a venue which will cater for Regional, State and National Events
ØProvide a venue which will cater Local, Regional and State Carnivals.
ØProvide a fenced safe environment
ØAddress the issues of safety including lighting, dogs etc.
ØProvide adequate Car Parking Facilities
ØAssist in the promotion and awareness of the development
ØProvide multi use sports surfaces.
ØProvide optimal usage of all facilities
ØProvide commercial leisure opportunities.
ØEnsure that the site is developed as a facility to cater for elite sport and also local community requirements.
ØProvide a proposal for the staged development of the site.
ØProvide an indicative order of costs.
