Description
Kangaroo Island Council, in partnership Zero Waste SA, are seeking Tender Submissions from suitably qualified organisations to develop a Waste Management Plan for Kangaroo Island.
The Waste Management Plan will consist of two elements – a Waste Stream Analysis and a Waste Management Strategy. It is envisaged that the strategy will set the direction for waste management on Kangaroo Island for the next five years.
The successful Tenderer will need to demonstrate:
- Proven track record in this discipline
- Understanding of waste management issues in a rural (island) Council context
- Ability to carry out project requirements in an effective manner
- Appropriate skills and experience in this or related fields
- Ability to meet project milestones and submission dates
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Appropriate presentation of tender document
